What is Film shot:-

Shot is a equal of some frame.it used  to be film or movie. There are  
several type of shot are available it's created image scale and image size.

some image is ups/down, some mid/ mid long.Personally i would like to play
with various type of image size shot.

Here I wrote many types of image scale shot or image size shot. Read with
very careful, I can give you a guarantee to learn more.



Close Up Shot (CS)

Close up shot is head to chess size shot. If take a shot of a man then her head to chess scale is Close up shot.Famous director Carl Dreyar use this type of shot his movie The passion of Joan of Arc. He take huge Close up shot of this movie’s main actress.
So this film is a example of close up shot.



 Master Shot (MS)

When a director try to view a full scenery of a environment with some
characters and their movement then this call is Master Shot or MS.



Weather Shot

When take a shot the weather then this call Weather shot.  Can be used 
for other purposes, e.g. background for graphics.


Point-of-View Shot (POV)

This type of shot target to the point then this call Point-of View.
Shows a view from the subject's perspective. 



Noddy Shot

This shot usually maximum used News channel purpose and something other purpose of the film making.
Usually refers to a shot of the interviewer listening and reacting to the subject.

Cut-In

Shows some (other) part of the subject in detail.


CA (Cutaway)
A shot of something other than the subject.



ECU (Extreme Close Up)

The ECU gets right in and shows extreme





 Two Shot (TS)

A shot of two people, When take a shot from some people and different two person from this
people, this call Two Shot.Framed similarly to a mid shot.  




Over The Shoulder Shot (OS)

Looking from behind a person at the subject. When take a shot besides a character’s over the shoulders then this call
Over The Shoulders Shot.




 Composition Shot (CS)
When take a shot to target one or two characters then this call
Composition shot. This type of shot another name is Group Shot.



Crowd Shot
Meeting , Fair, Bazaar, Railway station, Bus Station or any type
most of the people present this type of shot is Crowd Shot.





 Mid Shot (MS)
Mid shot is a important shot of Film World. When take a shot of a man's head to waist, then it is Mid shot.
Shows some part of the subject in more detail while still giving an impression of the whole subject.
To disclose a full scenery, take this type of shot.






MCU (Medium Close Up)

Half way between a MS and a CU




Mid Long Shot (ML)
Mid Long Shot is between Mid shot and Long shot.



 Long Shot (LS)

Whole frame of a man structure. When a scenery disclose with besides scenery’s environment this call
Long Shot. Long Shot’s another name is Establishing Shot. Two take this type of shot 1) Take with foreground and 2) Take with background.






 Extreme Long Shot (ELS)

When take a shot from more or huge far, this call Extreme Long Shot or
ELS. Scenery increase from small to big to use this type of Shot. At
first this type of shot disclose Lawrence of Arabia’s Movie in 1962.





WS (Wide Shot)

WS means wide shot. Any subject or any character takes up the full frame. It’s same to long shot and full shot. Full shot or long shot is another name for wide shot. It shows subject fully, from head to toe (only person).




EWS (Extreme Wide Shot)

EWS is called on establishing shot. In the extreme wide shot, the view is so far from the subject that s/he isn't even visible. Its show any subject's surroundings in any point of shutting.
The first shot of a new scene, designed to show the audience where the action is taking place of any film.
In a war movie (battle field or any war place) a EWS can show the scale of the action. It is also useful in action scenes are very spread out.
Extra long shot or extreme long shot is also known as EWS (acronym X LS).
In battle field actors are able to show a lot about character through body language and movement in the WS.




VWS (Very Wide Shot)

VWS means very wide shot. It’s very much closer to the subject, Similar than an extreme wide shot), but
still picture must be a wide shot. The subject is visible (barely), but the emphasis is still on placing him in his environment.
The audience is shown the whole setting so they can orient themselves. It’s often works as an establishing shot.
The VWS also take for multiple subjects. It’s allows plenty of room for action situation to take place to show appear on screen.










  Close Shot:-
Passport picture Type of frame. This is close shot.







Many type of close shot:-

      Big close shot : All of the face in one frame. In this shot the Actor facial expression and dialog work for, especially when he/she talked in this moment.





          Big close up:-  one/two eyes, lip in all frame. In this shot the Actor facial expression and dialog work for, especially when he/she cry, talked, fear and other moment expression.


           
      ECU (Extreme Close Up) :-

   ECU gets right in and shows extreme detail. In this shot the  Actor "saves"  their emotional work for, especially when he/she cry or reveal their emotional state. If you over do the emotion on your wideshots, you may not have enough left by the time you get to your close up/Shot.
